Shore Educational Collaborative is a City Connects partner
City Connects is an evidence-based intervention that helps teachers and schools provide integrated supports to address the needs of students in schools serving under-resourced neighborhoods and families.
Shore Statistics
Shore Students live in and are referred by (15) different school districts, currently. We have over 200 students per year enroll in school programs each year. On average, Shore school tuitions are over 50% lower than comparable private school tuition, resulting in considerable savings for districts’ special education budgets.
Staff Expertise
Parents describe our staff as knowledgable and compassionate. All of our professional staff are licensed by the Department of Elementary and Secondary and/or their professional accreditation associations. The majority of our school staff, in all positions, have been employed at Shore for 5 years or longer. Nearly a third have Shore careers over 10 and up to 31 years (and counting).
